Rules

Section 1 - Zero Tolerance Rules

Violations of these rules will result in an instant permanent ban.

1. Most slurs are prohibited, this includes the Hard R, F Slur, and other slurs. The N-Word and the word 'Retard' are allowed.
2. Any comments that encourage, imply, or threaten self-harm or suicide are not tolerated.
3. Any form of content that displays child abuse will result in an instant ban, and a report to Discord/CFX.re and Law Enforcement.
4. Sending any form of malicious links, files or material. This includes IP Grabbers, Token Grabbers, Viruses, etc.
5. The usage of any mod menu, cheat or tools that affect gameplay for others are strictly prohibited.
6. Abuse of any glitches or bugs in FiveM, GTA, or Server Resources to negatively impact the gameplay for others.
7. Threats of any violence outside of roleplay.
8. Threats or attempts to DDoS, Hack or blackmail the community or it's members.
9. Making up evidence to get someone in trouble.
10. Lying about your age, and/or being under the age of 13.
11. Leaking or threatening to leak any members private information, including but not limited to Names, Addresses, IP Addresses, this also includes any form of PII.
12. Any form of ‘venting’ is prohibited. This is an RP server, not a place to dump your problems on others.
13. Finding and abusing ‘grey areas’ within the rules to evade moderation is prohibited, and will result in a ban.

Section 2 - In-Game Rules

These rules apply to our In-Game FiveM server.

1. No disrespect towards members outside of roleplay.
2. No harassment towards anyone within the community.
3. No disrespecting other communities, or attempting to stir up drama or conflict between them.
4. No impersonation of Staff.
5. Any form of pornography, gore, or abusive material will result in a ban.
6. No killing people randomly without roleplay reasoning. (RDM)
7. No hitting people with your vehicle without roleplay reasoning. (VDM)
8. New Life Rule must be followed at all times, if you get killed, your character must not have any recollection of what occurred that resulted in their death.
9. Your ped must be realistic and human. Invisible clothing is prohibited.
10. Sexual Roleplay is prohibited for everyone, this is to ensure the safety of Under 18 members.
11. Deliberately breaking crimes in front of an LEO is prohibited.
12. When the priority cooldown is active, major crimes are prohibited. This includes police pursuits, shootouts, robberies and kidnappings.
13. Power-Gaming or Meta-Gaming is strictly prohibited.
14. WCRP is an English Only server.
15. Altruist Peds are prohibited.
16. Roleplaying as a fake Department Member is prohibited.

Section 3 - Discord Rules

These rules apply to our Discord Server.

1. You must respect all members, regardless of personal feuds and backgrounds.
2. While profanity is permitted, try to keep insults a minimum.
3. Any form of spam is prohibited.
4. Advertising is prohibited.
5. If you send a link, it must lead directly to the website you are sending. Link shorteners are prohibited, unless the links come from our official links domain. (links.westcoastrp.net)
6. If you have loud background noise, we ask that you either mute your microphone or use Push to Talk.
7. Do not encourage other people to break the server rules.
8. Alternative Accounts are prohibited unless approved by the Foundership Team.
9. Use channels for their intended purpose, refrain from having conversations in media or bot command channels.
10. The usage of any member's face as your profile picture or banner is prohibited for the safety of the member. This can only be excused if the member provides explicit permission.
11. While interacting within the WCRP Discord Server or FiveM server you must have an intent to follow all rules and guidelines.
12. Avoid discussing controversial topics within our channels or FiveM server, this includes politics and real world conflicts. This is to avoid arguments and harassment.
13. Soundboards must be played through Discord's Soundboard Menu, this is to ensure people can mute soundboards freely.

Section 4 - Priority Rules

Priority's in WCRP are larger roleplay scenes that require the intervention of most if not all LEO online. These roleplays can only be conducted with permission from staff, and are on a 15 minute cooldown between them. Note: Staff may put a longer priority cooldown depending on the scale of the roleplay or by how hectic the server may be.

1. The following roleplays must be approved by staff: Hostage/Kidnappings, Large Shootouts, Robberies, Fires
2. When the priority cooldown is active, major crimes are prohibited. This includes police pursuits, shootouts, robberies and kidnappings.

Section 5 - Terms of Service

As a FiveM server, we are required to enforce and abide by the cfx.re/Rockstar Games Terms of Service. Along with this, we are required to abide by and enforce Discord's Terms of Service and community guidelines. As such, any ToS violations will result in an immediate ban.

Any and all server rules are subject to change at anytime, notice will not be given for rule changes, however a subsequent message in our Rule Changes channel will be posted upon the change of any server rules or regulations.
